The counselor is all important to the Friends Camp ministry. The cabin counselor is the key person in relation to the camper. Counselors will act as advisor, friend, guide, parent, and big brother or sister to the camper. Success in molding the campers into a cooperative family group will depend on the counselor’s love of children, ability to attract them, interest in each individual and their needs, and the ability to create a sense of unity within the group.
